Well! Well! Well!!! Now it is time to describe about my journey to Netrokona and it’s surrounding places. Also it is time to show you some pictures of that places. We had been decided on 10th August 2010 that we would be started our journey on 12th August morning at 7:00 AM. But my two lazy partner were 30 minutes late for the journey and they came around 7:30 AM at West Pantho Path, in front of my house. We took a three wheeler CNG auto rickshaw. The driver asked for 100 Taka which is 2 times more than metered fare. But if you live in Dhaka then  you know that every driver of auto rickshaw and taxi will be reject you if you want to go by meter. You have to bargain and have to go by bargained fare. Finally we got an auto rickshaw for 80 Taka and start the journey from West Pantho Path to Mohakhali bus stand, from where we had to take bus for Netrokona. It was early at the morning, so we reached mohakhali after 20 minutes ride. Amazing!!!!! At the middle of the day, you have to spend 2-2.5 hours for the same ride. “May Allah Help Us”. After arrived at Mohakhali bus stand, we bought 3 tickets of bus and ride on the bus. At the same time raining started. Again I said silently ,“May Allah Help Us”. We had to wait for 30 minutes because the bus was late. Finally we had been started our journey towards Netrokona at 8:30 AM. After 2 hours of journey, we got a 10 minutes break and we covered 47 KM of the 150 KM which is the distance between Dhaka to Netrokona. 2hours for 47 km? Yes, I think now you can understand the traffic and road condition of the Dhaka to Mymensingh highway.

Well it was not the end, we saw something after 10 km after the journey started again. What we saw? We saw a road accident between a bus and a lorry. Unfortunately I could not able to take picture of that accident which killed 2 people’s life. But this highway is one of deadliest highway of Bangladesh and everyday an accident occurred and we saw another accident and the same thing, again between bus and lorry. But this time the accident occurred in-front of us.

This accident killed 4 people and everyone of the bus was injured. We start calling Allah and pray for the safe journey. We were very upset that we saw 2 accident in a row. But nothing to do. Finally we had been arrived Netrokona at 2:00 PM after 5:30 hours journey. We took a journey break in Netrokona town for lunch at my senior brother’s house at the town before we started our journey again toward his village house.

We ate our lunch at his town house with 5 types of fishes. It was very delicious. Really I can not explain it, how much I enjoyed the lovely food after a long time and all the fresh fishes. After finished our lunch, we took some rest. then we took rickshaw to go to bus stand and when we reached at the bus stand, we heard that at the morning there was an another accident between bus and a motor bike which killed 3 people of the bike. The motor bike is another kind of public transport in that zone. But luckily we got a MPV what we called microbus in Bangladesh and finally we reached our destination. At the bus stand we bought  some fresh fishes from the fisherman for our dinner. We had been walked for 15 minutes to reached from bus stand to the house and on the way what I saw? you want to know? “A picture is worth a thousand words”.

After a boring one month long holiday, I did something that I like most. Yes, I went for a trip to Netrokona, one of the northern district of Bangladesh. There are not much options to travel in Bangladesh compare to other countries. But still Bangladesh has some places to travel, specially for those people who live in Dhaka. Dhaka is one of the worst city in the world, because it has a lot of problems like huge population, traffic jam, dust, electricity problem, mosquitoes, the concrete jungle and many other problems. So, if you live in Dhaka, you have to face frustrating time regularly. Well, I also faced those problems last one month and I was searching for a holiday and one of my senior brother asking me to visit his village, which is kalmakanda an upzilla of Netrokona. This is a northern district of Bangladesh and Netrokona is famous countryside with green landscape view, Hill River, Haor which mean wetland area where at the time of rainy season all the area turn into mini sea and people of this area involved them into fishing. At the time of winter, the same place turn into farming land and the people become busy with farming. This is rainy season in Bangladesh but not much rain falls in this season. So the Netrokona didn’t turn into mini sea but there are some water in that lands.  I spend there three days and two nights there and visit some other places. I will describe those places in my next post. Also I will upload some pictures of this trip. I’m damn tired today. Soon I will be describe about my trip. Bye for now.

Today I went to Shantinagar to meet Faisal and hangout there.The day was hot and shiny and it was Saturday. I thought it would jam free day but It was a really crap day like other working days. Huge Traffic Jam all the day long? Yes…… I had to change 2times my rickshaw, because rickshaw can not go every place in Dhaka. After a hectic journey I reached there and enjoy there a lot. I want to describe that, but I’m so tired now and do it. SAD!!!! Maybe write soon….

Finally I think, i got a plan for my future.I was very confused about my future planning since first week of july, when i came back home for my holiday. I didn’t know what to do from next July when i will finished my study. My brother want that I will settle abroad but I don’t want that. Another thing about it is, the unemployment rate is very high all over the world and I am aged enough to start job in a foreign country. I want to start a new business in Bangladesh, but i have no idea about current business trend in Bangladesh. Some of my friends gave me some ideas, but the ideas were not suitable for me. Another thing is, my elder brother and sister want me to do any job, not business. Hey, I’m old enough to start a job from the beginning, why you people don’t understand this factor? – I said to them. And they didn’t like my idea. So I had to change my plan and I think, I will start job after my graduation (If I will get any smart job ) and invest some of my money in Stocks. I think, this is a good idea. So I am learning some financial topics right now, which are related to stock market and good thing is, I’m learning very fast. WOW!!!!!. Also I’m planning to start study about CCNA, because I want to develop my skill and knowledge. I will post what i would learned. You people will be my examiners. Hahahahaha. I think i have to go now for study. I will let you know about my progress. Bye
